Soundtrack album for Amnesia: The Dark Descent has been released today! The album contains 35 minutes of horrorous music including many tracks that were left out from the game. If you bought the game directly from Frictional Games, you can download the album for free! For everyone else, the album can be purchased at Frictional Games' Online Store. CD version will be available a bit later.

Frictional Games released an expansion for Amnesia: The Dark Descent yesterday. The expansion is called 'Justine' and it contains some new music too. And the best part is that you can download this DLC from STEAM for free! Check the trailer at GameTrailers.com!

Independent Games Festival award winners have been announced! While Minecraft took the biggest prize (Seumas McNally Grand Prize), Amnesia won the competition by amount as it grabbed three awards - Direct2Drive Award, Award for Technical Excellence and also something for me... 2011 Independent Games Festival today announced main competition finalists and I'm happy to tell Amnesia: The Dark Descent has been nominated for awards in three categories: the big Seumas McNally Grand Prize, the Award for Technical Excellence, and something that more concerns my contribution for the game, the Award for Excellence in Audio. These awards are considered as "Oscars" for indie game developers. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, March 2nd.
Furthermore, Elder-Geek.com gave Amnesia their Best PC Game of the Year Award. The game received also a big pile of awards and nominations by several other game medias.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent made it to the Gamasutra's Top 5 PC Games of 2010 and shared the list with titles such as Mass Effect 2 and Starcraft 2.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent won two awards in IGN's Best of 2010 Awards yesterday. It won The Best PC Horror Game of the Year Award and left titles such as Metro 2033 and Bioshock 2 behind it. Another award was given for Coolest Atmosphere. Cool indeed!

Amnesia: The Dark Descent has been nominated in multiple catogories in IGN's Best of 2010 Awards, including Best Horror Game, Coolest Atmosphere and PC Game of the Year! Winners will be revealed December 13th, keep your fingers crossed!
Amnesia has also been nominated for the year's Best Indie Game in Machinima.com's Inside Gaming Awards 2010.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent will be released worldwide next week and first reviews for the game are already online. IGN gave the game a nice overall score of 8.5/10. Also check the Elder-Geek's video review for the game.

The release of Penumbra soundtrack album will be postponed to Q4! Due to busy times with different projects the soundtrack won't be ready Q3 2009 where its release was first scheduled for.
I got signed on a new interesting game developed by Indiego games. More info will be revealed later.

The Sound of Fiction today announced the production of Penumbra Soundtrack: Special Edition. The album will include a selection of remastered music tracks from all three games, in addition to previously unreleased material. Series narrative designer, Tom Jubert, returns to provide an exclusive text and further insight into Penumbra's twisted tale. The album will be available Q3 2009.

Paradox Interactive announced that the Penumbra Collection, the critically acclaimed and innovative horror trilogy, has released in both Europe and North America.
IGN ranked Penumbra: Black Plague number 4 in their list of 13 Scariest Games of This Generation. Penumbra: Black Plague also gained honourable mention in Gamasutra's Best of 2008: Top 5 PC Games list.
